E-M5 fun and frustration at the same time

You said initially that the 45 was showing signs of wear OPTICALLY. Obviously a ridiculous statement. Okay, strip away that an the hyperbole.

The 45, in fact, is still taking great despite the fact that you banged it into a shop window hard enough to break the front ring! Good one! That's not a "mild" hit.

Dust makes scratching sounds when focusing? Thought of getting it cleaned? And dust has got in? I live and work in an extremely dusty and humid environment here in Rabaul (depending on whether it's the dry or wet season) nd I simply have not experienced dust getting into any of my lenses, including the 45. Oh, and it has bounced off a couple of things too.

My E-PL3 and Panny and Oly lenses all show some signs of wear and tear because I don’t mollycoddle them.
