The Werra cameras were built in east Germany

They were quite popular in France inthe sixties

The obturator was armed by turning the big ring around the lens

The est german Zeiss did not match exactly the quality of the West german Zeiss

The Werra suffered also of many mechanical problems

They were rather inexpensive at the time they were imported in France
