Show Your Snaps...January 28, 2013

1st off, I want to thank you for your detailed response.  You've now opened a whole new can of worms for me.  I knew there were a couple of different varieties of chickadees.  At least one variety is a visitor to the feeder in the backyard.  If appears that by me referring to the type I see a Black Caped chickadee, I am in error.  They sure are skittish birds.  From what others have posted, that goes in their family.

When I see European varieties posted of the bird I thought, we don't have anything near here that strikingly marked, but the closest would be the chickadee.  Thanks to your post I see they are both in the same family.
