To be honest I'm not to happy with my stitching comment it was a bit stupid really. I'm big on stitching but there are loads of sitautions where you can't use it

I'm intrested by the idea that we are long way from lenses being the limiting factor. I know the sensor and lenses are a team thats hard to seperate but it seems to me that for full frame edge sharpness is often an issue already

perhaps it meant that we are a long way from more pixels gaining more resolution. That I can accept, particulalry in the centre of the frame. But at any given moment from now on I think we'll see that IQ in terms of resolution is more determined by the lens than the sensor. Particulalry if we care about the edges
