Is it impossible to get valuable critique on such a forum?

I forget to add this:

Some of these amazing Top 10 winners WALK AMONG US in this very forum. Its a humbling experience to know the people your talking here takes some of the best photo I've seen. You don't find them taking incessantly about gears, but they take photographers and enter just about every contest I'd known.

The challenges run in the forum are useful development tool. But the actual DPREVIEW run challenges are not very useful. If you want you can click through and see how I've done thats fine. It matters little, the point is that I've leant nothing. Well OK I learnt that some people are much better at this game than me, but i knew that. I heven't had any useful feedback

Yes its great that there are some good photogrpahers here and I have leant loads from them. But only really when they C&C my work or explain how they achieved something

I disagreed with your comments that "actual dpreview run challanges are not very useful".

I suppose I can't really argue. If you found it useful, you found it useful. Its a subjective thing. If you have the time you could say how it was useful.

But again first in a DPREVIEW challenege is a huge achievement

I had the following photo evaluated and judge by "professionals" and received in a locally community photographic class contest challenge 2nd place of 68 entries and on dpreview challenge 1st place of 175 entries. Now I'm not a professional and I have never made any money with my hobby but I know when an image is good specially when I can compare it to other similar photos
