This may be a silly question but here goes,

Do the Nissin and Yongnuo flash guns work in CLS mode?

They say they are iTTL compatible, so is this the same thing or does it just mean that TTL exposure works, they don't mention CLS in their blurb so I am not 'sure' that they will work wirelessly (off-camera) with automatic exposure.

Thanks

Yes the right ones will work like that, they can receive TTL signal for CLS. But only in slave mode no master.

Yongnuo YN500EX, YN560EX, YN565EX, YN568EX

I don't kaow about the Nissin but Yongnuo is so good that I would forget everything else.

I suggest the 560EX as s slave flash only about $100 and great!!!

I recommend YN568EX. It has hss mode and it will sync shutter speed of 1/8000s.
