Epson R1900 and borderless printing.

Hi all, got a silly question.

I been using a R1900 for a while. I converted to use a CIS and got a great deal on 4X6 cut sheets. I can now print a  borderless print for around 11 cents each. I used to send out my everyday stuff because of cost but it actually makes sense to do it myself now.

My question is will I have problems in the future with printing borderless prints in volume? I usually print on 13" or 8.5" wide paper and cut it down so the borderless option was hardly used. now that I have 1000 cut sheets that I'm sure ill blow through this year, will this kill the printer by the over spray leave marks on my larger paper when used?

Also is there counter built in that needs to be reset in this printer for waste ink. I know some epsons do but not sure about mine.
