Macro Shooting with SX40 Question

Ok, I have a question for you SX40 macro shooters.

Seems I have a great deal of trouble getting sharp images from my SX40 when shooting in the macro mode. Images look sharp through the LCD but when I view them afterwards they are blurry. I don't have this trouble using the SX40 in other modes. In macro I keep a minimum ISO to 200 and up.

So, am I missing something here?  Do others using the SX40 in macro mode have a difficult time getting sharp images?  Any tips to getting better results?
