Both these pictures are very very good! The second one is subtly brilliant with outstanding lighting. The person taking the photograph is not as relevant (dark) but his hands are and so they have more light which leads my eyes to his camera. The statue angle and expression is perfect and compliments the photographers serious attitude. I agree with Raaj about the shadow too. Although the angle is wrong, it's almost as if a flash had gone off on the camera. The use of space and thirds in the composition make this an outstanding picture in my opinion. Arguably the only improvement in the photograph might be the caption - I might have called it "Hold That Pose"

These photographs represent what Leica is all about albeit they may well be too subtly brilliant for some. You certainly know what you are doing my friend.
