I think what you are hinting that is potential focus issues with any focus system with light sources that do not have a constant output.

A monitor is not constantly illuminated and the refresh rate varies. Sometimes this causes an autofocus issue. A few light sources are not at all constant in colour or illumination and can also sometimes cause autofocus issues. The refresh autofocus rate in a camera also varies with the model.

Few photographers regularly encounter lighting situations which can cause focus issues.

For similar reasons some sports photographers working under artificial light at night at some  locations find auto white balance is not reliable.

The fix is usually to switch to manual control.
