Black & White Printing Question ?

Hi

Got a Canon 9000II - prints lovely colour photos

I have got back into B&W a bit - printed one off - still a hint of colour in final print

Is there any way to print very good B&W ?

Are there deicated B&W photo printers ?

or is it just mine does not make a good job of it?

Any help appreciated
