I find the background to busy.  I would remove the chair and the napkin with the chopsticks.  The edges of the table are creating a focal point on the bowl of rice.  I like the texture of the table clothe. I would use some no seam behind the table to even out the background.  Or perhaps move the plate forward and shoot from a higher angle to use more of the table as the background.  Play with bouncing the light off of a reflector to even out the shadows.  Just a few thoughts.  Keep experimenting but document what you try so when you are satisfied you will be able to repeat it.
