Death of the GXR project?

I was late to the GXR party, only buying it based on the handling of my GRD4. I bought it complete with the A16 zoom and right from the very first shots taken i was seriously impressed with the clarity of the images. 6 weeks after I bought it , the store knocked £240 off the kit ! Ouch. But the quality of the images took my mind of the cash loss and the more I used it the more I liked it. Next I felt I needed the EVF. Got one near mint at a great price. What a revalation . Not because I'd never looked through an EVF before but because I could use it at 90 deg. Viewing like this seemed to come completely natural to me, and very comfortable . Yesterday I secured an M mount. This has always been on the cards for me since putting an OM 50mm on my 4/3 body. I was very happy with the whole old school experience of going back to manual focus. I know I'm blowing my own trumpet but I'm good at it.
Now I'm not in a position to be forking out on gear used or otherwise but I now I have the m mount on its way I want to get away from using adapters and get a fast standard lens. I have my eye on a couple of Voigtlanders. So the A16 zoom will have to go. And yes I am aware of what I can realistically expect to get for it after the heavy discounting its had. It would be more valuable for me to keep it but I do need to recoup a little if I can. The same too re my GRD4. I will have a Ricoh with a fast (but longer fl) so I shall let the 4 go too.
If the GXR system is dying out I'm glad I got mine now. Perhaps I'll get another body (or 2) to keep me going.
