I had not thought about it doing pana's, but that is something I would like to do.
To be fair, Sony actually invented the sweep panorama and their slice registration process is still the best. Not a biggie as not everybody takes panos, just pointing this out. In fact I probably took about 10 panoramas in total in both fuji and sony... it is not that much I can do with them or even display them.
