If same money, X-E1 vs X100S?

If you don't need interchangeable lenses, then X100S hands down. Newer features and sensor technology. 23mm (35mm equiv) is great, and if you like it, I wouldn't hold your breath for the XF lens.

It is just a matter of interchangeable lenses in my mind. Not to mention, Fuji has shown much more of a commitment to the fixed lens platform than they have to their system cameras.
