Monopod for 70-200 f/2.8 IS II?

Just purchased the 70-200 f/2.8 IS II, and would appreciate any suggestions for monopods that people here have good experience with.

I will use it for low light/slow moving subject event photography situations, as well as for personal use in a variety of situations.  I'm shooting a 40D right now, and moving up to a 5DIII soon.

Searching around on B+H have found the manfrotto 685B NeoTec Monopod Deluxe, which seems ideal ergonomically, although maybe a bit long contracted to carry easily (especially at an event).
