Can someone help me choose between the Canon SX50HS or the S100

Hi

Can someone tell me which camera would better suite me either the SZ50HS or the S100.

I am looking to capture my kids playing with each other as well as running, or kicking the ball at their soccer games.

I can not afford a DSLR camera at the moment. I like that the SZ5 has more fps and a great zoom but the S100 is much more portable. Are there any disadvantages to either camera?

I have purchased 3 cameras in two years in a hope to get my kids in action I would like this to be the camera that finally does what I need it to do.
