Some signs of *intelligent* life at Olympus imaging

At $499 on their site, they're making a pretty hefty profit on e-pl1s since the r&d, etc. has been paid long ago, but I really doubt that means they're still being built. Are they also still building the e-pl2, e-pm1, and e-pl3 too? I can't imagine they have that much manufacturing capacity to spare.

The whole mystery could probably be sorted with the serial numbers. They usually identify when the product was manufactured so they can know how long the warranty should last, for customers who can't show proof of purchase. Not relevant if you purchase right from Oly, but important for sales through 3rd parties.
