Quality low-cost TTL radio trigger (Canon) available currently worth buying these days?

What's the situation with low-cost but high quality TTL radio triggers for Canon cameras these days? Last I heard Pixel was rumored to release a "King II" and I also read somewhere that Chinese manufacturers possibly had a chip developed which would make it easy for any number of companies to develop high performance/quality TTL triggers. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much news in these regards over at LightingRumors, so what's the latest?

I'm in the market for a radio trigger system. I'd rather wait a little and get a TTL trigger, but if nothing appears I'll probably go for a Phottix Strato II manual trigger.
