Canon interview: the end of the DX pro line

D3s is fantastic, but it doesn't have the pixel density of DX, and so when you need the reach more than high ISO, it is no substitute for D300. D800 has the pixel density, but it is not particularly fast, while generating and then sifting through hundreds or even thousands of gargantuan image files is not equally appealing to everyone.
