Not sure I understand the issue with no min. shuter speed and Auto ISO

This is what I do, I just manually choose my shutter and off I go. As long as the metering is in evaluative or centre weighted jobs a good'n. Must admit though, I barely use auto iso. My previous camera had it, I had the camera for 3 years and I never used it.
