D800E, 70-200mm feat. Lee Big Stopper = big problem

All extreme NDs have some color cast that can be easily corrected in post. However, your examples are classic light leak results.  Light leaks come from two sources, the OVF and the space between the filter and the lens.  Closing the shutter on the OVF fixes problem one.  If you can't adjust the filter to fit properly, you can use a cloth or something else to wrap around the lens/filter interface.
