This was taken with my OMD with the 45 mm lens, f/5.0, 1/80, iso 200. It doesn't have the sharpness that I think it should. Is this poor exposure, the histogram is quite far on the left? Motion blur? (Hand held IS on). Shutter shock?

Thanks

Dan

All of the comments I have read in this thread seem to miss the primary question the OP asked.  He wanted to know why the photo was not as sharp as he thinks it ought to be.

After looking at the entire photo at 100%, the point in best focus seems to be the leaf in center left , mostly in shade, and with the central vein pointed at the lower left corner of the photo.  This leaf seems to be pretty sharp to me.  It is probably a foot or so farther from the camera than most of the other leaves which seem to be slightly out of focus.

In short, the main problem with sharpness seems to be that the camera decided to focus out of plane to the majority of the foilage.
