It might be a clue. It appears that most of their software is related to scanners. So perhaps the original image was a print.

that makes sense too it wouldn't have photo properties if it was scanned into his computer. ugh this is just making me crazy!

If it has an "image taken on" tag, that might give you a clue as to when it was scanned if it was from a magazine.

I can't recommend a specific forum, but there are quite a few out there.

But if your marriage is on the line over this, why not discuss it with him?
