As you crop from full frame to C sensor by the factor 1.5 with a nEX, you can use a hood (same diameter as the old one) for a 1.5 x focal length full frame lens. So for a 50mm lens adopted to NEX, a hood for a 75mm lens would fit, and I bet you can even use a 90mm full frame lens hood.

Of course you have  verification tool built in: just look at the LCD/viewfinder and check the corners.

So go to the bay and order yourself a set of hoods for normal and tele lenses (full frame equivalent) and see which do not vignette on which lens. The tighter the lenshood the more useful it is. Lens hoods run around 3 - 6 $ each from China.
