That is good on manual mode. Its basically how I shoot. Anyway I did find this link

On another site a fellow made up a spreadsheet for either Excel or Numbers and the settings for Nature,landscape,and travel another for weddings and portrait, another for point & shoot, and finally one for sports and action. If you have some small 2gb or less sd cards you can set the camera up and save to the card. Mark the cards for sports, portraits etc and keep them with you. You can load these cards as need and the camera will have the settings.
You could probably try them and adopt what you like or not. I did this as I am slowly leaving one system for this one. Anyway hope this helps.
