Trouble converting to B&W

PS - I did that conversion in an old copy of Corel Paint Shop pro, and all I did was box, copy, paste new image, convert to grey scale, then a tiny bit of adjustment in contrast 7 brightness.  Took me all fo 15 seconds.  To repeat myself, when you go from colour to B&W, you have to "see a new image" inside your old shot very often.
