not feeling the love for my a77

I moved to Sony from a Kodak SLR/c after flirtations with Canon and Nikon, settled in happily with an a850.  But I have a spinal cord injury and it was heavy and I couldn't carry the bag with it and lenses and was dropping it due to my injury.  glass from wide through the 100-300 apo with 3 zooms and 4 primes.

got an a55   eh  but still had the nice images sony gives and nice glass.  upgraded to an a77, just not feeling it, never got comfortable and the bag is still too heavy, maybe I don't have the comfort because of my injury and I don't can't use it enough??  DOes it "come to hand" for most of you.

Got a NEX7 kit lens sucks, got the sigma's ane sony 50mm but the auto Focus sucks and is slow and I'm 60 with old eyes and can't manually focus.

I see no point in jumping brands kind of like the Nikon but it will be big and heavy and no $$ anyway.

I think moving to the APS size sensor didn't help, it has a different feel, (moved from medium large format user with 645 being my small camera).

Maybe the a99?, afraid to sell the DSLR to buy good glass for the NEX with the slow focus and smaller sensor although i'm not totally convinced it is sensor size. also have 3 sony flashes that the a99 doesn't use natively.  used heavy 850 and dump lenses?

Most of the board are helpful so throwing this out there.  if you are kind enough to respond keep in mind i walk very poorly and need somethig light.  just frustrated as photographys is my only lifelong passion and I feel it slipping away.
