drizzle, fog and E-M5

When drizzle cold and fog settle on the plane of the river Po, the disturbing effect of monotony and discomfort pervades us all.      The most normal and common corners of town assume new meanings...

As the EM-5 is slowly becoming user-friendly my imagination is surfacing again, it had been badly chocked by the provocative ergonomics and the puzzling menu.

The weather sealing of the E-M5 and of the Pan 12-35/2.8, and the prominent lens hoods of this lens and the Pan 7-14/4 contributed to keep worries in the background.

All shots with a Manfrotto 681B monopod  +  486RC2 ball-head, better if the monopod is heavier than camera/lens combo, so that some exposures at ISO1600 with the help the excellent image stabilizer were possible at 1/8sec.   Not that sharpness was particularly important considering the fog

O’Neill Multifunctional Range snowboard pants and AcquaTech gloves (the ones with holes for digit and finger) helped too!

Regards,  Vittorio
