Another Canon or Nikon?

I have the EOS XTi and D70 with equal amount of lenses, they do pretty much what I need and my photos will probably not improve with new equipment. I also have the D5100 but I want to use the AF on my existings lenses, it boils down to that I don't need another one it's just that I want one.

That is good advice you have a good point, I expect some interesting new developments are in the works and I'm sure I'll get the bug again when that happens but in the mean time I think I will take yours and Biggs23's advice and go for the D7000.
