Reilly; Dealers can adjust their stock with the vendors by returning only 'New' unused product!
In reply to Reilly Diefenbach, Feb 2, 2013

Reilly Diefenbach; Not in the price/terms from Nikon and others, but they do allow dealers to correct their stock, usually the dealer needs to buy 2 time the dollar amount they want to send back. And they can only send back 'NEW' stock, never, ever, ever, an item that may have been sold and returned or shown to a customer, right. Then Nikon, Sony, Pentax, Oly and others ship the 'NEW Only' returned items to dealers to sell. This return program is usually used by medium & small dealers after XMas. It's up to the rep. Notice I didn't list C.
