A57 - What are my affordable and fast 135mm lens options?

what's your intended use? Remember a 135mm on a a57 will be a fixed 200mm field of view. An 85mm on an a57 would give you very close to 135mm.

Depending on how fast a lens you need, there are a couple of decent zooms that get you up to 135mm - the new Sony 18-135mm is a decent lens, and the classic Minolta 'secret handshake' 28-135mm can be had around $350 (i'm about to sell mine if you're interested).
