On the 7D can you trigger the video with a remote?

I will try and let you know in a few hours. I am going out on my every morning birding shoot and I shoot videos of them preening, feeding etc.

Yesterday while video recording I pressed the remote for a still and it worked.

Meanwhile set up your camera on a tripod, switch on the live view, shift to video mode and try the remote you will know the truth......:-)
