Capture One vs anything else

Many thinks to all of you for the very constructive responses.  They're all incredibly helpful and have totally restored my faith in the power of this forum to support those of us who are looking for advice, rather than using it as an outlet to vent our personal problems (I have those too of course, but this probably isn't the place!).  I'm giving C1 a try and will let you know how I get on.
