Actually that's not bad! Unless of course you need color printing.
Basically he had it set for what is refered to as Piezography ( B&W ) printing. It will produce exquisite results.
Look in EBAY for affordable sets of carts.
I recentlyt saw a full set of 220ml carts for about $300. That's really good.
