Enjoy the new camera
When I got my D300, it was the time the D7000 hit the markets, and everyone started dumping their D300 - lucky me, I got a D300 with 350 - yes, that's 3 hundred and 50 - clicks, for 600$!
The D300 is an awesome camera. The D400 - if/when it comes - will also be awesome. But until then, and no matter how great the D7000 might be, the D300(s) is still the king of DX I say...
