Technically, it's a huge difference. The Shutterbug Remote is a direct Bluetooth LE wireless link from your phone / tablet to your camera. The Triggertrap requires a wifi hotspot. IF your master device can create one, that you can connect, and even then, it won't support bulb exposures, HDR, etc. Only one shot photos.
