Hi Sal...  I suppose if I were a professional photographer, I MIGHT worry about the settings for capturing a particular photo; but, for me, photography is a hobby and not something I worry about.

As for camera settings, I use what I feel is appropriate for my circumstances: manual settings for comparatively static subjects and program settings for capturing family activities/portraits. With comparatively static subjects, I find I enjoy taking my time to change settings. There is nothing inconvenient about it and, for me, no worries whatsoever.
