WIDE/FAST/CHEAP - What are my options for Nex video?

If you're shooting hand-held, the SEL35 is really your ideal lens, and worth saving up for. No other option is going to come close really, good optics, OSS to eliminate shake, and AF is there if you want it. I would shoot at 35mm on your kit lens and see if it's wide enough for you. Otherwise you could wait for the 20mm f/2.8 pancake, which will be cheaper and wider (and smaller of course), but slower and lacks OSS.
