I see what you mean. But after downloading and zooming in to %400, I don't think that's the case. I could be wrong, but looking at the table and other straight lines in the frame (horizontal, vertical, and diagonal), I don't think that's what we're seeing.

I'll re-run the test maybe tonight and make sure that IS is actually off, that's the only thing I can think of that might cause "shake."  The pictures were taken at 1/80 on a sturdy table-top tripod (a metal Leica) set to a 10 second delay (during which I backed off).  Hard to imagine how camera shake could have come into the equation with those parameters.

I'll also do an AF shot (on those lenses that support it) as well as manual focus.  Maybe my manual focusing skills just aren't good enough -- although it's suspicious that the 12-35 comes out the sharpest in both the manual focus shots as well as those where autofocus was used on all the lenses.
