Space shuttle re-entry 10 years ago

Ten years ago today, Jason Hutchinson, one of the forum members, posted pictures of the space shuttle breakup over Texas.

He subsequently sold the pictures to AP, so here is one of the pictures he had posted:

His post was in this forum which was the Canon dSLR forum at the time, and at first some folks thought he was kidding as the news hadn't spread yet.
