And if you're reading between the lines you'll see that Apple has to do security updates just as MS does....implying that Apples get hacked/wormed/attacked too. It's just one of those things you're not supposed to talk about I guess.
This isn't a security gap in Apple's OS... it's a Java (Oracle) problem. Just google "jre java security"...
