Really it does come down to a support issue. If you won't have trouble servicing the unit, I cannot imagine the language is such a big deal. Especially if you can write this post in English. How much is there to a camera interface?
It is conceivable (though not guaranteed) that you would be able to upload a future firmware upgrade in the language of your choice.
