Noise reduction

I turn off in-camera NR so that I can see as much detail as possible in the image.  Can always add NR in post processing, with much better control.  For example, might only want to add NR selectively (as for broad expanse of clear sky).

Once detail is lost in the out-of-camera image, its lost forever!  Hold onto detail for as long in the editing process as possible.
