Olympus are "stupid". Why make silver lenses?

I want all mine silver - it means they absorb less heat from the sun here in the tropics. You might notice that your camera and lenses, being electromechanical devices, get pretty warm with extended use. They don’t need black heat absorbing paint to make things worse.
