Canon 7D user thinking of switching to Nikon D600, big mistake?

Thanks for the input, the image quality is what I'm after the most. Specially since while I was reading reviews of the d600, I came across this article

and gives tips about shooting underexposed on bright sunny days to avoid highlight clipping. This is one thing that always bothered me for example when shooting on bright cloudy/sunny days where there would be a lot of highlight clipping. Of course the tip applies to any camera, but the better ISO capabilities of the D600 should make shadow recovery almost free (as the article suggest).

Sucks about live view not being really good, which I use when I want to get critical focus right when shooting wide open. I read the D600 has a focus confirmation light when shooting manual (according to the focus point chosen) though I might be mistaken?
