ABSOLUTELY:  focusing one of my "ancient" film SLR's is a piece of cake (a pleasure, even ! ). Manually focusing my lovely little X100 is a joke, and not a funny one !

I had a split prism installed in my Nikon D5100 just to aid with manual focusing. No such option with Fuji (I love Fuji, but that's a fact).
