G1X: it pass the test at -20 Celsius in Quebec - 6 NEW PICS

Uhhh - nice photographs - looks rock cold.

Good to hear that this little camera works well in extreme conditions. The first thing that will collaps at temperatures below - 20 is your battery. I once tried this with a Pentax DSLR and during the second shot with flash activated the system collapsed immediatelly.

After carrying the camera inside my jacket for 30 minutes everything worked fine again - The battery was not empty - it simply refused to work below approx. -15 degrees.
