Slowly getting the new RX1 in shape

Thanks to those of you who have offered advice on optimising the handling of this camera. Today I went on a bit of a shopping spree in one of our local camera malls (great having malls choc full of camera stores). Anyway, based on the suggestions here, I picked up the following:

1. A Gordy's wrist strap (they only had the sting type, but according to the Gordy site, it's strong enough).
   
2. A $20 metal cut-away lens hood (bit cheaper than the Sony one )  To make it work, I had to use the lens cap from my old Sony F828 ... the RX1 cap still works, but not so easy to get on.
   
3. B+W skylight filter for extra lens protection
4. Red dragon black beep for the shutter button ... I love this thing. You engage the shutter with your finger joint rather than fingertip, and it's just so much smoother. Great addition
