A Camera to all

Seems like olympus had a lot of experience from PEN, and want to put a bit of this mixture to point & shooters pocket back in 2010
by XZ-1 They did. It loved by users, some minor issues by them, but succesfull, so succesfull that "sensor" competiton becomes "Apeture" league anyway.
And back in Dec. 2012 They bring us XZ-2, and then there comes Pentax surprises us with MX-1. Well dont say "Ben, its Pentax..." but its barely Pentax ! its preety obvious that lens and sensor got Olympus touch. Even backscreen is a nice version (i dont want to say copy, because it looks nice, not naughty). That moment i was thinking XZ´s pocketable version is this, with stylish bras piece on it.
And now, XZ-10 (i remeber i was suggesting this name for XZ-2 back in rumor days!) for compact users. With that, there are different priorities, very light camrea, more accurate scren, touch sensitive. But no flipping. And to keeping bright lens , they mae their sensor size smaller.
Here is the new Menu for all P&S users by Olympus (feat. Pentax)
These are the user types that i can define. More importantly its all covered. It also makes me a bit relaxed to see that kind of joint venture from this two brand (well maybe there is not anything such...i only thinking loudly), coz every year from many different brands we see many P&S cameras with %90 smilar technologies, nothing else but waste of resources and money. As well customer satisfaction.
And I am glad olympus realised that, by the PEN series, that you can use your E-P2, E-PL2 equipments with OM-D E5. In terms of XZ´s now its possible to use many XZ-1 accessories smilarly to XZ-2 as well. I think it also save their time and effort on many areas. And XZ-2 comes in 2 years, even its short term but still feels ok. Considering P&S range of other brands, as well olympus.
Thanks to read, lets chat more about these issues this weekend
have a nice weekend all,
Ben.
